Smoked Brisket Pizza
Ingredients

- ⅔ cup shredded Colby-Jack cheese blend
- ¾ cup chopped smoked brisket

- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1⅔ cups shredded Colby-Jack cheese blend
- 3 cups chopped smoked brisket
- Coleslaw and pickles, to serve
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°.
- Lightly dust an 8-, 10-, 12-, or 14-inch cast-iron skillet or baking pan with flour. Using floured hands, gently stretch Basic Pizza Dough to cover bottom and press ½ inch up sides of prepared skillet or to edges of prepared pan. Cover and letstand for 10 minutes. Uncover crust.
- Bake for 5 minutes.
- Spread barbecue sauce onto crust, leaving a ½-inch border. Sprinkle with half of cheese; top with brisket.
- Bake until crust is lightly browned, about 12 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes more. Top with coleslaw and pickles. Serve immediately.
Notes
KITCHEN TIP: This pizza would also be delicious with pulled pork in place of brisket.
