Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings

A tangy, stir-together sauce with two mustards is the not-so-secret coating that creates these finger-licking Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings.

Honey-Mustard Chicken Wings

Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
  • 12 chicken wings, cut into drumettes and flats, wing tips discarded
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¾ cup stone-ground mustard
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Instructions
  1. Position oven rack in upper third of oven. Preheat oven to 425°. Lightly spray 15-inch cast-iron skillet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together chicken, salt, and pepper. Place on prepared pan. Bake for 15 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together stone-ground mustard, honey, and Dijon; reserve half of mixture in a small bowl. Brush chicken with remaining mustard mixture.
  4. Bake until golden brown and an instant-read thermometer inserted in center of wings without touching bone, registers 170°, 10 to 15 minutes more.
  5. Stir mayonnaise into reserved mustard mixture; serve with wings.
