Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Carrots
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
- 10 slices thick-cut bacon
- 10 medium carrots with tops, peeled and trimmed
- ¼ cup honey
- 1½ teaspoons hot sauce
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper
- Garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Wrap 1 slice bacon around each carrot. Place on a large cast-iron baking sheet.
- Bake until bacon begins to crisp, 25 to 30 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, paprika, and red pepper; brush onto bacon.
- Bake until bacon is golden brown and crisp, 15 to 20 minutes. Brush with remaining honey mixture. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
