Treat yourself to homemade popcorn the old-fashioned way.

1. In a large Dutch oven, add oil and a few kernels of popcorn. Heat over medium-high heat until kernels pop.
2. Add the remaining kernels. Cover and shake until kernels begin to pop.
3. Shake until popping slows to one pop every 5 seconds, 4 to 5 minutes.
