Glazed Bacon-Wrapped Carrots
 
 
Makes 4 to 6 servings
Ingredients
  • 10 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 10 medium carrots with tops, peeled and trimmed
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1½ teaspoons hot sauce
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • Garnish: chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Wrap 1 slice bacon around each carrot. Place on a large cast-iron baking sheet.
  3. Bake until bacon begins to crisp, 25 to 30 minutes. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, hot sauce, paprika, and red pepper; brush onto bacon.
  4. Bake until bacon is golden brown and crisp, 15 to 20 minutes. Brush with remaining honey mixture. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
